Tine Klein

Tine's grandfather painted with her, he was a painter, and so sketching became her profession. She is a dipl. ING RP, popularly known as a town planner. In her late twenties she was almost paralyzed. During this time she was trained by the painter Leif Skoglöff. The first jobs came quickly. When she was able to walk again, she lived in Asia. There the pen became a language! Today she teaches painting; Profession or vocation? It doesn't matter, it's a joy!

The color works!

The topic of the course is how to build a picture on a large area of color. Large areas of color have the advantage that they have a strong visual effect. The picture becomes an eye-catcher!

To do this, you have to learn how to break a picture down into very simple shapes. These shapes are the basis for the playful connections of different techniques, for example between painting, drawing or graphics.

  • Step 1: We learn to find the big connections in a motif, on which the colored areas are based.
  • Step 2: A short theory and technique about the colour areas.
  • Step 3: Trying is better than studying.

Material:
A paper suitable for wet techniques. Watercolour paints, waterproof pen or fountain pen with waterproof ink. A flat brush about 2 fingers wide, alternatively a thick round brush with a good tip. (The point is that you have a brush that can also be used to work flat.)
