The short but impressive Mülenenschlucht Trail combines nature, history, and the city. This wild and romantic trail leads across small bridges and along narrow paths beside the rushing Steinach River, offering exciting views of the city of St. Gallen. It provides many inspiring subjects for sketching. Parallel to this, the Mühlegg funicular connects the old town of St. Gallen with the Drei Weiern recreational area and the St. Georgen district on the southern hill of St. Gallen.
