SketchPoint 5 – Campus Universität St.Gallen

Main Building (1963) This Brutalist structure, designed by architect and sculptor Walter Maria Förderer, garnered international attention and was even dubbed the “Miracle of St. Gallen.” This was due in particular to the central integration of modern artworks, including pieces by Hans Arp, Georges Braque, Alexander Calder, Coghuf, Alberto Giacometti, Étienne Hajdú, Zoltán Kemény, Joan Miró, Alicia Penalba, Pierre Soulages, and Antoni Tàpies.

Square (2022) The Square is the center for new approaches to knowledge transfer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Designed by Sou Fujimoto, the building is distinguished by its unusual architecture, winding spaces, and unique details.
