They are small and always at hand. A few coloured strokes are often enough to capture one's impressions on paper. However, coloured pencils are also ideal when we want to embellish a fleeting drawing with details and interesting structures. In this workshop, Aljoscha Blau will introduce coloured pencils, his favourite technique for sketching. We will try practical exercises to look closely, Aljoscha will explain his drawing techniques and give tips on how to further develop your artistic handwriting. Our main motif will be the human being. The aim of drawing is not to depict what we see, but rather the feelings that our fellow human beings evoke in us. How do I express my relationship to the respective model? What do I pay attention to in a quickly sketched portrait so that the resemblance remains? How do I get things right when I'm drawing under pressure?
