My name is Susanne Brem. For me the best part is that I could turn my passion into my career. I teach drawing and painting courses, go on painting trips across Europe where I teach urban sketching, and hold illustration workshops in my studio in Bremgarten (AG). I'll show you my hacks and tricks that will help you improve your drawing and painting skills.

In the foreground, we’ll focus on capturing interesting people or objects. While in the background, a beautiful building. In this workshop, I’ll guide you through the process of bringing all these elements together with lightness.
I will show you how to become more relaxed in your drawing style. I teach you how to bring complicated things into your sketchbook in an easy way. After sketching with ink or fineliner we bring colors in our sketches.
Suggested material:
- Pencils (HB or B)
- A modeling eraser (very important!)
- Fineliners (0.1, 0.3, 0.5) or fountain pens (waterproof ink) in various sizes
- Watercolor paints
- Colored pencils
