Sketching the Soul of the City: Lines, Light, and Life in Geneva

Workshop language: English German

We seek out lively streets and playful facades in the city. We explore charming buildings and captivating street views. We search for and sketch exciting compositions, following the flow of dynamic lines in architecture. We observe the dance of light and shadow, and capture street scenes full of character and movement.

Key skills:

As a graphic designer I’d like to focus on layout: arranging foreground, middle ground, and background in relation to each other, using light-dark contrasts as a design element, and exploring dynamic and engaging compositions.

We will pay special attention to the deliberate selection of the image section and the composition of the picture, including foreground, middle ground, and background. Particular focus will also be placed on the lighting atmosphere and the contrasts within the city as key elements of our composition.
